Leeukop – apartment in a private home, set against the lower slopes of Table Mountain, in the seaside Camps Bay suburb of Cape Town.
Peter and Jalna Schumann and their son Wilhelm have been offering accommodation since 1995 in a cosy garden apartment attached to their family home. The self-catering apartment, decorated with orignal local arts and crafts, leads onto a patio with lovely mountain views, in an indigenous garden with a shared pool.
Peter and Jalna have lived and worked most of their lives in Cape Town; Peter currently as an architect and Jalna previously in book publishing. Jalna grew up in Cape Town and Peter in Johannesburg. They have lived in Leeukop since 1986. They can advise on mountain hikes, the Cape floral kingdom, wine-tasting, books, theatre, music and the opera, and more. French and German spoken. Children welcome.

Leeukop is a five-minute walk from Camps Bay beach and the restaurants on the beachfront. The gorgeous Clifton beaches are ten minutes away on foot, and the Table Mountain cable station is five minutes away by car. You will find three-star (TGCSA) accommodation in an apartment with a patio in an indigenous garden. Own entrance, comfortable twin or king beds, kitchenettes with stoveplates, microwave, fridge, heater in winter and fan in summer, telephone, TV, MNet. Tea, coffee, milk replenished daily. Laundry service.
